What the therapy does
Post-Natal Ayurvedic Therapy at Santhigram combines targeted manual approaches and gentle toning work focused on the abdomen, lower back and hips to address lax muscles and post-delivery flab. Sessions are intended to relieve mechanical back discomfort and support scalp stimulation for hair concerns, without promising specific cosmetic or medical outcomes.
The therapist adapts pressure, positioning and focus areas to each client’s recovery status and any guidance from their healthcare provider. Working from our Meadowvale location, scheduling is adjusted to fit commuting parents and shift workers from Mississauga and nearby communities.
Session structure and timing
Sessions last 45 MINUTES and are scheduled to focus on localized attention to abdominal tone, lumbar support and scalp stimulation to address hair concerns. Therapists work within client comfort limits and any postpartum medical restrictions; they will not perform procedures outside massage and therapeutic touch and will explain any manual work before starting.
The therapy is offered at a set rate of $195 per session; during booking we'll confirm availability and any preparatory guidance. Because Mississauga winters can affect travel, we offer flexible evening and weekend appointments and are close to Meadowvale Business Park and Highway 401 for convenient access.
Aftercare and realistic expectations
Post-session you may feel temporary relaxation or increased awareness in treated muscles; any reduction in abdominal laxity or flab depends on multiple factors such as healing status, activity and nutrition. The therapy is a supportive service, not a substitute for medical postpartum care, and should be used alongside guidance from your maternity provider.
Targets such as scalp stimulation may support conditions that encourage hair growth and manual work can ease mechanical back pain, but results vary and are not guaranteed. If you have medical complications, recent surgical restrictions, or concerns about breastfeeding, please obtain clearance from your healthcare provider before scheduling so our therapists can adapt care safely.
